June was a busy month but I can never be too busy to read!  Here’s my book list for June:

  1. Ready, Scrap, Shoot (A Kiki Lowenstein Scrap-N-Craft Mystery) by Joanna Campbell Slan
  2. Keeper of the Heart (2nd in the Ly-San-Ter series) by Johanna Lindsey
  3. Twenty Wishes (Blossom Street series) by Debbie Macomber
  4. Wolf and the Dove by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss
  5. The Negotiator: 1 (O’Malley series) by Dee Henderson
  6. Single White Vampire (Argeneau series) by Lynsay Sands
  7. Tall Dark & Hungry (Argeneau series) by Lynsay Sands
  8. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling
  9. The Guardian: 2 (O’Malley series) by Dee Henderson
  10. I Remember Nothing by Nora Ephron
  11. Dream Trilogy by Nora Roberts
  12. Storm Front (The Dresdon Files Book 1) by Jim Butcher
  13. Fool Moon (The Dresdon Files Book 2) by Jim Butcher

Here’s a summary of my feelings on some of these books/authors –

The Blossom Street series by Debbie Macomber is a warm, wonderful feeling type of read.  Dee Henderson is a new author to me and I LOVED the first book immediately (Christian action/suspense).  On a completely different genre of paranormal mystery, Jim Butcher has a wizard mystery series that is also very addictive.  His Harry Dresdon wizard character is powerful with funny human qualities.  I love that a wizard has to recharge his energies and the mysteries are quite good – I’m reading his 3rd book in the series right now.  Adults that loved Harry Potter should really enjoy Harry Dresdon.

Hope you enjoy a good book or e-read this summer!  I’m always looking for something new to read – would love to know what you are reading or your favorite book title.  Thanks!
