Celebrating a Day Trip

Yesterday, we took our first day trip and decided to see the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach.  Thankfully the GPS took us on a rural route!  Yes, I was surprised to see a rural area complete with silos and the museum was in the middle of rural USA!

Ray thoroughly enjoyed himself and shocked me with his knowledge of the different fighter plane names!  He would have been a great teacher of history.  I enjoyed getting back into manual mode and really had to concentrate to remember my how-to techniques.  I took many more shots to get the exposure right but it was great practice.

Here are some highlight photos from yesterday.
