30 Days of Gratitude – Day 16

Color

This week I had to take a phone pic of this beautiful tree. The leaves were glowing and golden with the sun shining behind it.  Two days later the tree was stripped of almost all of the leaves but underneath was a golden carpet of texture.  I’m glad I took a before and after but wish I had my DSLR with me for these.

The Autumn glory is going to be fading now and I dread the bleak gray winter simply because of the lack of color.  That means my wardrobe needs to bring me that needed relief.

  1. I’ve been enjoying your daily thankful posts…just haven’t been able to comment as I view all my blogs in the morning with coffee on my kindle and for some reason I can not longer comment (via kindle). Hope all continues to go well with the job!

  2. OMG this is so awesome. I grateful for these photos. They made me stop and stare at them over and over from one to the other. I love before and after photos. The yellow of that tree is breathtaking. NOW it’s bare. So so beautiful a post! I grateful for you awesome photos skills and shares!

    • You are VERY kind since these are phone pics:) But I agree the difference in 2 days AMAZING. The result of a very cold and windy cold front. I’m enjoying the view from my balcony right now. The peak is over and the colors will be fading fast. Enjoy the moment! Hope you have a great Sunday my friend!
