When I was going through a divorce in 2000-2001, I decided I needed to document my life – for me and my 2 sons – so that we could be motivated to LIVE even though our lives had changed so drastically.

Now my boys don’t love to be photographed after having my camera  always in action the first few years!  But I’m glad I decided to capture our life.  Sadly I don’t have as many photos of them when they were younger but I’ve made up for it over this last decade.

Me and my camera

Fast forward to 2012.  My  boys are grown men, one of them has made me a grandma and my life continues to change.  Brandon has joined the Army which means they will be living away from us.  My husband and I have moved to the tidewater region of Virginia which is a couple hours away from our families.  I’m going through a lot of changes and this is the best way for me to deal with them.  How – by celebrating them and being open to gratitude each and every day.

In this digital age, I decided to blog instead of scrapbook the daily highlights of my gratitude.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.  I hope you will feel free to make comments and suggestions.

Have a wonderfully blessed day!
