Feeling gratitude that Ray is having improvement with his leg pain. I’m so glad that the internet provides so much information to help people research alternative treatments.
Moving soon but we don’t have a date yet. I have been so happy to know that it’s really happening.
Packing all of our earthly belongings slowly. I’m seriously obsessed with collecting boxes. I have stacked filled boxes in the spare bedroom taking up almost half the room. Yet there is so much to pack. Where did it all come from and where has it been hiding?
Purging even though I got rid of so much stuff when we moved here I still think I need to get rid of things we don’t use often. It matters when you are paying someone to move your stuff and they want you to count the boxes! Yikes!
Remembering George Carlin’s skit about STUFF, it was so funny! Check him out on YouTube George Carlin “Stuff”.
Anticipating my last week of this intense summer schedule coming to an end and yet I’m savoring these last two Fridays off. It has had more of an impact on me this year than before.
Reading blogs on the weekends since I can’t risk being late to work from zoning out on the computer.
Missing my camera, my inspiration, my fellowship in sharing photos with like-minded friends but I’m eager to get back to all of it.
Looking forward to changing seasons, summer is not a favorite time for me. Although I enjoy more sunshine, painted toes and cute sandals, I really don’t love the heat and humidity. Come on Autumn!
I am so very grateful for the man I call my husband – C. Ray Stone. It’s been 7 years since we first met and felt that very real spark. As I type this, I’m in shock thinking – it’s been SEVEN years? Really? I feel like I’ve known him my whole life and yet it doesn’t seem like it’s been 7 years at the same time. That’s weird. I still have stars in my eyes thanks to him. I have a new lease on life from being married to him. I love the story of how we met and it’s been a love story ever since our first date.
I’m so grateful that I have experienced this love with this man.
(I promise not to be as sappy as this for the rest of the series, lol)
What are you thankful for today? Please share!
I have to apologize to my fans of Feline Friday to bring you a very important message. Today is the beginning of November and I’m on a mission to be thankful each and every day of this month.
This morning I am very thankful to be alive! I’m thankful to be healthy. Each morning that I get out of bed without that horrible back pain that I had earlier in the year makes me say a prayer of gratitude. I have eyes that can see (maybe not as good as they used to but still), my other senses help me enjoy life to the fullest. I have mobility.
I am so thankful.
Why don’t you join me in offering up some gratitude? What are you thankful for today?
Today is my dearest friend Cheryl’s birthday! We have 23 years of friendship and that says it all. In good times and in bad, our friendship has endured (cue up Dionne Warwick). She knows the worst facets of me and yet she still likes me. When my world fell apart twice, she was there to help me find my balance. Although, she did laugh when I fell once at the bar singing YMCA, she helped me get up then too. I even made the huge mistake of letting our friendship go for a while and I’m so glad that she pushed me to an even greater relationship. I’m blessed to have 3 sisters but Cheryl is my soul sister and I’m grateful for her being a part of my life.
